We wanted to congratulate Melissa on putting down some California roots! For those of you who may not know, she recently purchased a new home and moved in on Saturday, 3/14. Way to go Liss! (Now we’ll always have a place to stay should we wish to visit Legoland, Seaworld, etc.) Hahaha:) All kidding aside, we’re excited to see the new digs and want to know if we’re invited to the housewarming party? Congratulations, Liss!

Thanks Will!! Moving was quite an experience. Note to self, always get a bigger truck than the one recommended. The EQ & RS really went above and beyond since we ended up having to make two trips (30 miles from one place to the next really adds up). Needless to say, the garage is full of stuff that didn’t quite make it into the house (except for a car shaped hole Joe had the guys leave so I could still park in the garage). There was only one little incident when Joe and I took the truck back about 10pm, and a couple of friends managed to lock one of them in the house and one of them outside the house. Dad, we’re going to try to change the locks before you get here – we had to take the front door off because we couldn’t get the deadbolt to unlock. And Joe did a temporary fix for the garage door so it works and we don’t have to open it manually. Now comes the Daddy-do list and figuring out what color to paint everything. That and the unpacking. I’ll put up pics as soon as Joe takes some!
