This was the Pre-New York concert they held for parents so they could hear what pieces they would be playing on their New York trip later that week, including the pieces they would be playing at Carnegie Hall.
Ashlee’s solo is track 03, starts right around the 2:53 mark.
The finale of the VPAA Benefit Performance at Skyline High School was the Symphony Orchestra and the A Capella Choir performing Requiem by Mozart. Head’s up, it’s almost 38 minutes total. Details in the youtube description.
Ashlee had her first concert of the school year yesterday and I realized I hadn’t posted her last two. So before I get to yesterday’s, here are the two I missed.
This first one is their annual week-long summer camp trip to Interlochen Center for the Arts in Northern Michigan (up close to Traverse City). They always go a couple of weeks before school starts and it’s where they get a head start on the music they will be playing for the year. It is an outdoor venue so the sound is quieter through the three pieces they played, you’ll have to turn up the volume.

The second one is from their spring concert back in May. It’s the last concert of the school year for them. They usually play a piece each time where they invite any alumni to come and play. It’s the 4th piece in this playlist, Aquila, so you’ll get to see Nick playing with his old orchestra since he was home just in time for the concert.
