Hey everyone, I got a call on the cell last night on the way to the library. It was Pops, letting me know that his cell phone number is going to change. What’s it changing to? Well of course I wouldn’t give that out over the public internet. Let’s just say if you haven’t spoken to him in the past couple of days you may want to give him a call. Good luck Pops!

For those of you whom Dad hasn’t called his new number is 928-237-0090. I’m not sure what provider he has but I am assuming it’s Verizon because everyone out here has that.
Dad’s new phone is Nextel. He’s now the first person I now of to use Nextel. I didn’t think they were still around.

What’s a Nextel? Wait, is that one of those ‘mobile’ phones that was bigger than your rotary phone at home that we always saw in those 80s movies? It wasn’t wind up was it? Just kidding pops, but wow, talk about old school. Seriously though, I know Nextel is still around, I just don’t know anyone besides Dad that goes through them.
And good luck Melissa with your trip to San Diego. If you move there, I’m volunteering your place for our next family reunion so make sure you get a nice spread in the hills or on the beach!
A quick update – I think things went well in San Diego, and I’ve been assured I will get an answer by close of business on Wednesday. But now of course the armchair quarterbacking is filling me with all sorts of doubts. I’ll definitely let you all know what happens!
