We were checking out the old train station during Saline’s Summerfest when Nick and Ashlee found this old phone. They were a little confused on how you made a call, they were wondering how you “dialed” so we had to show them how those old dial phones used to work.
But where’s the screen?
Yeah, and can you imagine clipping that thing to your belt or slipping it into your pocket?
I still have a dial phone next to my bed. It works without batteries and I don’t have to worry about charging it. It was going to be a prop for some production, but that’s where it ended up. I don’t ever have to wonder where it is when it rings. That’s worth something. :)
