Update on My Life

First of all Jere, yes I did find my user name and password so never mind.

Next, thanks to all those who’ve remembered me in your prayers as I continue to try and find a new job.  I just found out yesterday the CSTV thing didn’t pan out (I was figuring it might go that way.)  Turns out when Comcast bought half of the mtn in July, they got half of the commercial time to sell for themselves.  So last Friday, the CSTV office here was told they were out of luck and any unfilled positions would be eliminated.  Oh well, I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

In other news, I’m mulling over a recent listing for a Research Director in the Fresno market at the NBC affiliate and I’m going to take another look at the Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem market as well as the Charlotte, Greenville/Sparta and Raleigh Durham markets to see if there are any openings.  And because of my wonderful performance review last month, I can’t apply for any positions with FOX for another 5 months, so I’m also looking into the other television station groups.

So thanks again for those who’ve been thinking of me and shame on those who have not (just kidding).  Although I’m still hoping for a programming position, I may have better luck in the marketing/research field.  But as of now, my days in the fair city of Salt Lake appear to be numbered.

Love to all!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!

A friend at work forwarded this message to me – check it out!

“I put up some lights on the house this weekend — you know I’m kind of a techie — Sharon thinks we need a little more color, but I’m ok with it… click the link below and let me know if you think I did enough… it took me about a ½ hour to put them up.”

Anybody get this into them?
