Malachi and Amelia jamming with the Lonesome River Band

Yeah, so Lonesome River Band is a pretty big deal too.  They posted this video on their Facebook jamming with Malachi and Amelia, and their new friend Jake Goforth on guitar.

Amelia singing with Flatt Lonesome

Flatt Lonesome is a pretty big deal in the bluegrass world with #1 songs and albums, as well as multiple IBMA awards.  They did a karaoke session at IBMA this year, and I signed Amelia up.  She’s singing their first #1 song “You’ll Get No More of Me” and they’re backing her up.  Flatt Lonesome streamed it on Facebook live.  Amelia comes on at about the 16:30 mark.  Enjoy!

Earlier Concerts

Ashlee had her first concert of the school year yesterday and I realized I hadn’t posted her last two. So before I get to yesterday’s, here are the two I missed.

This first one is their annual week-long summer camp trip to Interlochen Center for the Arts in Northern Michigan (up close to Traverse City). They always go a couple of weeks before school starts and it’s where they get a head start on the music they will be playing for the year. It is an outdoor venue so the sound is quieter through the three pieces they played, you’ll have to turn up the volume.

The second one is from their spring concert back in May. It’s the last concert of the school year for them. They usually play a piece each time where they invite any alumni to come and play. It’s the 4th piece in this playlist, Aquila, so you’ll get to see Nick playing with his old orchestra since he was home just in time for the concert.

Utah 2018

Visit to Utah this summer. Nick’s last real hangout with his roommates and friends before the MTC.
