A blog

So, I was browsing the internet the other day, and I guess I/we have a blog.

It’s mostly so I have somewhere to write the lame things I think are funny so that I don’t forget them.

Maybe someday when we’re uppa class and can afford a digital camera it will be even cooler.

Anyway, it’s right here.

Happy Birthday!

Just wanted to post a quick Happy Birthday to Jon Gries, the guy who plays “Uncle Rico” on Napolean Dynamite. He’s most famous for trying to throw a football over a mountain. He failed. This was after traveling back in time and playing Broots from The Pretender Series.
And then there’s Venus Williams. She’s black. And she plays tennis. She also thinks she has a sense of fashion. I’ve heard many disagree.
And most importantly, there’s musician Barry Manilow. Whoopdedoo.
See Chris, don’t you gots some good company?
Happy Birthday Chris!

Bacon!

There are few things that ALL of us like to eat, bacon is one of those things. Saturday morning… breakfast. After I had to make up a second batch of bacon.

Jere: “I can’t believe you guys like bacon so much.

Becky: “Who doesn’t like bacon?!

Nick: “Vegetarians.

Ashlee: Busy laughing.

Then a couple of minutes later there was this awesome idea…

Nick: “We should dip bacon in bacon sauce!

That kid’s a genius!

Danish Baptisms

OK all, we need your help.  We were reading a story in The Friend where a guy was talking about how the pipes froze/broke before his baptsm, so the water was freezing, but it made him think about the pioneers breaking the ice to be baptized, etc.

So anyway, I remembered somebody (Melissa?  Will & Trish?) was able to get an account from Grandma Freeman about the circumstances around her parents baptism.  I went looking on my computer for it, but I couldn’t find it.  Does anyone have a copy of that?
