Just wanted to congratulate Chris and Leah on the birth of Jonathan Christopher. I’m sure he’s just as cute as the rest of my nieces and nephews!! I can’t wait to see pictures :)

Are you ready?
One of Hollywood’s favoritist things to do is what I consider detrimental to the development of the human imagination. That is, they love to take beloved books of yesteryear and turn them into the box office hits of today. I have just found out, by way of cousin Kyle, that the latest book to undergo such a transformation is Maurice Sendek’s immortal Where the Wild Things Are. Here is the link to the new trailer and I’ll admit that I’m interested in seeing what major changes they make from the book and what story line they create/develop. I wasn’t too pleased with the choice of music for the trailer, but other than that I thought it was put together very well. The release date for the movie is October 16 so I say we all celebrate Ashlee’s birthday and go see it!
Expect the Expected
So disappointing, so kind of expected. That’s the way they’ve looked in the first round for awhile. Doesn’t matter the sport, I just don’t think our athletes have the mind set to win in the post season. I’m just afraid they’re going to stop inviting us eventually.

So, way back on my birthday, Andrea gave me a basketball hoop and backboard, and she customly painted the backboard herself. It’s like the patron saint backboard of this site. It’s awesome! See? See?
My wife is so great.
Also, here is a picture gallery with photos of Steve Nash, in Fathead form. On our wall. If you don’t know what a Fathead is, it’s a hugely large wall decal. Anyway, they were doing a promotion with our radio station, and there were free Fatheads to be had, so I got one. Check it!

We wanted to congratulate Melissa on putting down some California roots! For those of you who may not know, she recently purchased a new home and moved in on Saturday, 3/14. Way to go Liss! (Now we’ll always have a place to stay should we wish to visit Legoland, Seaworld, etc.) Hahaha:) All kidding aside, we’re excited to see the new digs and want to know if we’re invited to the housewarming party? Congratulations, Liss!
