From: Elder Joshua Freeman Subject: On the 7th day of Christmas Date: 20 December 2004 10:28:27 AM EST ÁHola! How are all of you all? This week was Zone Conference week. It all went well. Unfortunately though, Martina didnÕt come to church yesterday, so weÕre not going to be able to do her baptism this week like we had planned. So thatÕs too bad. Last Monday, we went and got the TV and stuff from JavierÕs house, and took it to the Flia. QuintanaÕs house to watch ÒRegocijaos, Jesœs Naci—Ó with them. Natalia and „a Rosa had to go to some dinner thing, but we watched with the dad and Clides and her kids, and the neighbor/nieces that are always over there anyway. That went pretty well. After that we went and had a Noche de Hogar with the Flia. G—mez. That went really well, and then we came home. Tuesday was a normal work day, because of Zone Conference on Wednesday. We went out and talked with Edgar Fern‡ndez in the morning and then dropped by JavierÕs house and then visited the Flia. Olmedo. And we had lunch with the Flia. Taboada. In the afternoon, we went to MiguelaÕs and talked with them about the Plan of Salvation and life after death and stuff like that. It went really well. After that, we visited Leticia, an inactive that we just met. She got baptized a little over a year ago and has had classes on Sundays, but I think sheÕs done now. After that, we got fallar-ed a couple of times, so we went and talked to GuidoÕs mom. I knew where she lives but had never met her before, so we did. SheÕs pretty nice, and sheÕs known the missionaries for a long time. After that, we went and talked with the Hna. Largosta and met her mom, and then went to MartinaÕs and talked to her about obeying the commandments. After that, we had some extra time, so we went by the Flia. VegaÕs and then came home. On Wednesday, we had Zone Conference. It went really well. The Hna. Gavarret gave a really good talk about Faith and the Pte. talked about ChristÕs life and his mission and stuff. After we finished, we had lunch and did a gift exchange, and the Hna. Gavarret made us cookies and they gave us the mission video, which is on a DVD. Fancy. Anyway, when we finally finished with everything there, we came home and only had a little time before going o get the TV and stuff and going to the church for Noche de Rama. We watched ÒRegocijaosÓ again, and then Elder Lloyd and I helped out the Primary with songs for their Sacrament Meeting program. And then we came home. On Thursday morning, it rained again, so we didnÕt use our bikes. We went and visited an inactive lady that we recently found last week, and then went and taught the Quintanas about fasting. And we just had lunch at home. In the afternoon, we went and had a charla with the GomezÕ and then got fallar-ed a few times. We did get in visits to a couple of members and talked with JavierÕs brother Francisco. That was about it. On Friday, we went to the Flia. GarridoÕs to cut grass and clean up their garden. It wasnÕt very hot but it was super humid. SUPER humid. But it was fun. And I found a bunch of onions that they had forgotten were there. After that, we went and had lunch with the Largostas. In the afternoon, we went and talked with the Hna. Estigarribia. Then we went and talked with Liliana a little bit, and then went to Las Piedras. We went to the Flia. SilveroÕs first, and while we were there, Elder Whitehead (who finished a couple weeks early and his dad came down to get him) and his dad came by. After that, we went to çngelaÕs and read a little with her. After that, we talked to a couple other people and came home. On Saturday, we went and talked with the Flia. Mart’nez and a couple other people before going to lunch. It was the Hna. Fern‡ndezÕ birthday, so we took her a picture. Like, a little card. In the afternoon, we had Correlation meeting and also stayed at the church to rehearse with the Primary again. Then we went to MiguelaÕs, and they had a friend over, and so we talked about the Book of Mormon and how itÕs the key to finding out that the church is true. After that, we got fallar-ed a couple of times and ended the night visiting the Flia. Caballero. Sunday was normal. The Primary did their program, and they actually did a pretty good job. There werenÕt too many people there, though. In any case, we ate and studied at home, and in the afternoon, we had a few citas that all fallar-ed us. But we saw Edgar, and he asked us to visit his aunt thatÕs in the Health Center right near their house. So we did, and we gave her a blessing and talked with them a little bit. Then we visited an inactive ladt before taking the TV and stuff to the church to watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional from a couple of weeks ago that we just got a copy of because it was 9:00 at night here when it was shown live. Not too many people came, and it rained in the middle, but it still went pretty well. Today, everyone came in and we watched the mission video. It was pretty good. And thatÕs it. We wonÕt be having MartinaÕs baptism this week, but the month of January should be really successful, and weÕre supposed to be moving into the new chapel at the beginning of the month. We were actually supposed to move in September, but heyÉ For those that will be there, weÕll talk to you on Saturday, and for those who wonÕt, have a Very Merry Christmas anyway. I Love You Guys!!!! Love, Josh
