From: Elder Joshua Freeman Subject: It's raining again Date: 6 December 2004 1:50:38 PM EST ÁHola! I think that since I've been in It‡, it's rained an average of every 4 or 5 days. Actually, right now we're in Centro doing some shopping. But it's rained quite a bit. But anyway, I don't have a lot of time, so on to the week. On Monday night, we had a Noche de Hogar with the Flia. Mart’nez, and that went pretty well except the people that they invited couldn't come. After that, we had a couple other charlas that went pretty well. That was it. On Tuesday morning, we had our normal meetings. In the afternoon, we went out to the Flia. Estigarribia's, but they were just leaving, so we set up another cita with them. After that, we visited Liliana, the lady whose husband is in Argentina and they'll get baptized once he gets back. They're both still reading in the Book of Mormon and stuff, so that's good. After that, we dropped by Blas' and then went and had a Noche de Hogar with the Flia. Olmedo. That was fun. And after that, we visited some other members and then came home. On Wednesday morning, we visited some members and had lunch with the Flia. L—pez like normal. In the afternoon, we went and shared a little with the Flia. G—mez, and some other members that live close o them. Then we had to make some copies, and then had to go get the TV from Javier's house to take to the capilla for Noche de Rama. THen we had a meeting with the branch leaders, and then we had Noche de Rama. There weren't too many people there, but it was still pretty fun. On Thursday, we went and helped the Hna. Garrido (the capilla-cleaning lady) clean the capilla. And we had lunch with Javier and his family and talked with Martina and his brothers and then came home. In the afternoon, we went by the Flia. Vega's and then to Daniel y Lourdes' and talked with them. Then we visited a couple other investigators and got fallar-ed before going and talking with the Taboada and Mattesich families. And Guido brought us home, like always. On Friday, we had a special Zone Leader meeting in Asunci—n and Pte. and the APs talked to us about baptisms and planning them and the interviews well and everything. In the afternoon, we went out to Las Piedras, where Pte. Silvero and his family live. We visited them and they showed us the house of some old investigators that live out there. So we went and taught them the first lesson and it went really well. After that, we went to Paraguar’ to do a baptismal interview, except the guy showed up late, but it went alright. There's not a lot of buses going out of Paraguar’ at night, so we stayed the night there with them. So Saturday we got up and came home and it rained all morning long. We went and talked to Martina about her baptism (for the 24¼ of this month) and also talked to Javier's little brother Fransico. I think he's about 18. After that, we went and talked with the Flia. L—pez and then went and had lunch with the Flia. Fern‡ndez. In the afternoon, we had Correlation Meeting at the capilla and when we were done with that, we went and talked with the Flia. Quintana to make sure they were coming to church. Then we went and did a verification and the people gave us the Libro de Morm—n back. Then we got fallar-ed, so we went and invited a couple other people to church and then visited the Flia. Caballero before coming home. On Sunday morning, we had pretty normal meetings, and we had lunch with the Flia. Olmedo, that was pretty good. In the afternoon, Javier went with us, and we mostly visited new members and inactives. That was about it. So, that was about it. Hope everyone's having fun in the snow while I'm having fun in the 85¼ and 85% humidity. And it's only going to get hotter. But yeah. Thanks everyone for everything. Oh, I still haven't gotten that package yet, Mom, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. I Love You All!!!! Love, Josh
